Lin Yutang has written in his recollections that a Chinese man sent a small wooden box as a present to his friend in Germany. It was a beautiful antique. But whoever had fashioned the box had engraved a condition on it -- that the front of the box should always face the sun. For thousands of years, whoever owned the box respected the wish of its maker. The Chinese man requested his friend in Germany not to break this tradition which was an inheritance of a thousand years. The German replied that there was no difficulty in observing the rule.
When the German put the chest in his sitting room, the whole place began to look incongruous. He had the whole room changed to suit the wooden chest. He changed the furniture and even the doors and windows, and repainted the room. But then, the rest of the house looked drab in comparison to this gorgeous room. So he changed the whole house in order to match the sitting room. But then, he found that the locality of his house did not go at all with the new interior. He gave up. He said that it was beyond him now to make any further changes.
A small change brings a revolution all around. A change in perception is not a small change; it is very profound. In fact, it is the most profound change possible. As soon as your perception changes you are not the same person any more. Everything around you changes. This fear of change is what holds a person back. If the courage to change is lacking, a man cannot become religious, even if he hears about religion all his life.
Lao Tzu says: "TO RETURN TO THE ROOT IS REPOSE." This basic space, this nothingness within.... And space (AKASH) means nothingness; it means existence. It is not solid; it is not an object, it has no form. It is empty space. Everything appears and disappears within it, and it remains untouched, unaffected by everything. "THIS IS WHAT IS CALLED GOING BACK TO ONE'S DESTINY."
Lao Tzu says: to fall back to the roots, to revert back to the fundamental source and experience oneness with it, is to go back to one's destiny, back to one's nature, back into creation. This is our destiny. As long as a person does not become one with his destiny, he keeps wandering, for he lives on end. This long journey for millions of lives, is all because of our identification with form.

Frösche und Fische regnen vom Himmel - wie kann man dieses Phänomen erklären?! Die New Yorker Zeitung "Sun" berichtete 1892 sogar von einem Regen von Aalen, der über Alabama niederging.
Es scheint, als könne alles vom Himmel fallen: von Hagelkörnern, die "explodieren" (so in Indien) über kleine Ameisen oder auch Samenkörner von Kresse und Senf, wie am 12. Februar 1979 in Southhampton, England, wo sie kiloweise herniederprasselten, bis hin zu geleeartigen Substanzen und Schwefelklumpen. Bis heute hat man für die ungezählten Berichte hierüber keine rationale Erklärung gefunden.
Kritiker meinen, alle diese Vorfälle sind auf Wirbelstürme zurückzuführen, die die Tiere in den Himmel reißen. Eine Erklärung, die auf den ersten Blick sehr einfach und logisch erscheint und wahrscheinlich auch für einige dieser Phänomen zutreffend ist.
Doch es ist seit langem dokumentiert, dass solche "Tierregen" in den allermeisten Fällen eben nur eine Tierart enthalten. Etwa nur eine Fischart oder nur eine Gattung von Schnecken. Ein Wirbelsturm würde, wenn er über ein flaches Wasser zieht, alle möglichen Lebewesen und natürlich auch Schlamm oder Sedimente in die Luft heben und an anderer Stelle regnen lassen.
Regenfälle von Blättern und Ästen, wie zum Beispiel ein Schauer von Geäst, Blättern und kleinen Fröschen, der laut Londoner Times vom 4. Juli 1883 an den Hängen des Apennin herunterkam, kann indes durchaus auf Windrosen oder Wirbelwinde zurückzuführen sein. Die Mehrzahl dieser interessanten Erscheinungen sind aber bis heute in aller Welt in der Diskussion und bisher nicht befriedigend zu erklären. Es handelt sich eben um ein Phänomen..

Losing the weight of the Tao

The Tao te Ching is one of the most beautiful and restorative religious texts. It has the virtues of being simple, beautiful, and practical. Anytime I read it, I am refreshed and I regain the clarity of heaven which the Tao says is my natural state. Of course, the Tao does not separate heaven and earth, human and nature, or anything else at all. All things are contained in the Tao, and the Tao is the source of all things.

Tao is the way or the course of nature.
Love Coupling (also known as Harmonization of the Yin/Yang) is the routine intercourse of loving couples, resulting in resonant orgasms every times. Taoists don't use "making love" for love coupling since we realize that love is a natural thing and can not be made. "Making love" means the intercourse between strangers in whom love is not existing yet, for pure physical pleasure.
In Taoism, males belong to heaven (sky)/fire (testosterone!) and are the positive (+) forces (Yang); females belong to the mother earth/water (estrogen!), and are the negative (-) fore (Yin). Both fire and water are very destructive; water can flood and fire can burn. On the the other, both of them can benefit life too if they unit properly; for example, they produce delicious meals.
The intention of love coupling is to balance both Yin and Yang forces within the human beings, and to make the world more peaceful to live. Proper orgasm burns excessive testosterone and estrogen to stimulate the brain/pituitary - adrenal - testiclular/overian axis for re-generation and to unlock the brain's hormonal negative feedback controller. Testosterone is the fuel for orgasm while estrogen is responsible for lubrication and female ejaculation (stored in the so-called Paraurethral glans - the female seminal vesicles distributed inside the urethral/vaginal and bladder/cervical and uterine boundary tissues).

In nature, when Yin and Yang forces reunite properly, it rains. In human bodies, love coupling calms our mind, neutralize our sexual energy and renourish our bodies.
